His Story
It all began in Little Rock, Arkansas, where young LanTheMan first found inspiration in the music that surrounded him during the late 90s and early 2000s. Drawn to the sounds of Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop, his passion for music grew deeper after moving to Houston, Texas. At the age of 12, his father gifted him a drum set for Christmas, sparking an obsession with rhythm and performance. By 14, he expanded his creativity by purchasing DJ turntables, experimenting with mixing and reimagining songs from his favorite artists.
At 16, life brought challenges when his parents divorced, and by 20, he had relocated to Naples, Florida, where he began living and working on his own. Through heartbreaks and the loss of so-called friends, LanTheMan turned inward, dedicating himself to his craft. Armed with nothing but Apple headphones, he started recording himself—rapping and singing for months until he decided to invest in his own home studio equipment.
In 2020, he uploaded his very first track to SoundCloud, opening the door to a new chapter. Since then, with over 50 songs to his name, he’s continued to refine his voice, sharing raw, honest music that reflects the life he’s lived.
Born Landon, his artist name comes from a nickname his grandfather affectionately gave him at the age of five. He also goes by “Wolf,” a nod to his “lone wolf” spirit—an identity that mirrors both his personal journey and his place in the music industry.
